The OMNI Cultipacker can be used with your Tractor UTV or ATV to give you the maximum germination results in your food plot. Most foodplot seeds require a shallow planting depth. One alternative to expensive drills and row planters is to broadcast seed and then use a cultipacker to press the seed into the prepared soil.
There are many brands and qualities of cultipackers on the market competing for the outdoorsman's dollar. With our cultipacker we are trying to give you the build quality of more expensive implements with pricing at the lower end of the spectrum.
We start with a stout 3/16" x 5" x 3" crossbar and add 1/2" x 8 x 15" end plates. A 1 3/4" solid steel axle is carried in greaseable flange bearings with two offset set screws. A black oxide coated split ring locking collar on each end prevents the 9" cultipacker wheels from rubbing on the end plates or bearings. This packer is available with a Cat One 3 point set up or as tow behind with a 39" bar and clevis end. A 3 point/tow behind convertible model is available as a $100 option.. We include the 7/8" lower link pins and one 3/4" top link pin with the 3 point model.
Most manufacturers 8 foot models have a 96" overall width unlike our packers that have a full 96" working working width. That is an extra 10" for every pass you make! The total package weighs in at 550lbs.
We apply two coats of Gloss Black enamel paint over one coat of primer to protect your investment from the elements. Kubota Orange, John Deere Green and Ford/New Holland Blue Enamel Paint is available for an additional $50.
